RuPaul revealed this week, in a video released on social media, that he would be bringing his Emmy Award-winning program, RuPaul’s Drag Race, to the U.K. next year.
“I am beyond excited to celebrate the massive charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent of the Queen’s queens. And before anyone asks, yes, we would be thrilled to have Meghan Markle join us, as we are already preparing a ‘Royal-Mother-To-Be’ runway challenge.” said RuPaul.
Michelle Visage, who judges the America version of the show, also confirmed via Twitter that she will reprise her role as a judge in the overseas production: “Of course I am a judge… I am THE judge!!”
The show, produced by World of Wonder, will air as an eight-part series on BBC Three in 2019.
