As part of their final challenge before the finale, the top five Drag Race contestants were tasked with performing the new RuPaul song “Queens Everywhere.”
A’keria Davenport kicked off the show in a sparkling transparent body suit rapping, “I’m the Diahann Carroll of Ru’s dynasty, You’ll get read, so don’t try me, Yes, she’s striking, but don’t you stare, Say ‘Hey, Miss A’keria,’ when you see her.” before strutting through two double doors, from her club set, to reveal Brooke Lynn Hytes’ red-lit set.
The dancing “queen of the North” didn’t miss a beat, quickly jumping into a split and adding a few high kicks while twirling on a stripper pole and spitting the verse, “I float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, Bitch, I’m on point, literally.”
Following Hytes, Silky Ganache pushed through a few dancers while exiting a bathroom stall in a bedazzled red ensemble, throwing herself back into a split before bouncing forward and completing her own verse, “I’m miss Silky, and I came to rock, My personality cannot be topped, Woah, this mug is on lock, Twirl, whip, drop it like it’s hot.”
The penultimate queen to perform was Miss Vanjie, who wore a colorful leotard and black thigh high boots. She rapped one of the judges favorite verses: “I whip my hair side to side, Category closed, bitch, I’m fly, Slip and slide thigh highs, Yakakakakakakaka, bye bye!”
Yvie Oddly hit the stage last, but rapped her verse while bent in half. The drag star then flipped over (after completing a reverse cartwheel) and walked off the stag after completing her verse: “I know I play rough, but that’s how I tumble, I bend over backwards whenever I fumble, I’m giving my all to shine like RuPaul, So pardon me, bitches, if I don’t say Ron Paul.”
The performance closed with all the contestants dancing together as Silky yelled out “Twirl” in Kenya Moore fashion.
